Practice & Cases
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage psychiatric conditions for patients ages 8 and older
- Complete admission histories, psychiatric assessments, physicals, and daily follow-up care
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, behavioral health technicians, recreational therapists, and discharge planners
- Provide care in an inpatient behavioral health setting serving both adolescent and adult patients
Schedule
- Full-time schedule with 20 to 22 shifts each month
- Monday through Friday coverage with one weekend per month
- Day call shared 1:3
- Night and weekend call shared 1:4
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner
- Active Iowa license required
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- BLS and DEA required
