  • License/Certifications: Current, valid medical license in Alabama; Board-certified or Board-eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Experience: Residency trained in Internal Medicine

What You ll Do:
  • Provide inpatient care for unassigned patients presenting to the ED and requiring hospitalization
  • Admit and co-manage patients alongside intensivist support in adult critical care
  • Conduct hospital consultations and transfers
  • Collaborate with specialist teams and support services, including in-house radiology, pulmonology, and neurointensive services
  • Support patients complex medical needs in a dynamic hospital setting using Epic EMR
  • Participate in limited primary care coverage for select private practice patients
  • Engage in a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care

What You Need:
  • Medical license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Residency training in Internal Medicine
  • Key skills include inpatient management, teamwork, communication, and adaptability
