Join an established cardiology program in Ogden, Utah, providing 24/7 interventional cardiology call coverage and comprehensive general cardiology consultative services. This locums opportunity offers a diverse procedural environment, advanced cardiac services, and collaboration with an experienced call team in a hospital setting.

Coverage Dates:
- August 31-September 7, 2026
Schedule:
- 24-hour call coverage
- 7:00 AM-7:00 AM
- ER call coverage only
- Responsible for interventional and primary cardiology call during assignment
- 24/7 interventional cardiology coverage

- Full general and interventional cardiology consultative services
- Experienced three-person 24/7 call team
- Two cardiac labs operating Monday-Wednesday
- One cardiac lab operating Thursday-Friday
- EPIC, Meditech, and Merge MUSE EMR systems
- 238-bed facility
Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Patient Population:
- Adult cardiology patients
Daily Patient Volume:
- Approximately 12 patients per day
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide general and interventional cardiology consultation services, including:
- General cardiology consultations
- Interventional cardiology consultations
- Follow-up care as needed
- Transthoracic echocardiogram interpretation
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Cardiac stress testing
- ECG interpretation
- Reading echocardiograms and ECGs from affiliated hospitals
- Responding to transfer service calls
- Responding to answering service calls
Procedures:
- Heart catheterization
- Coronary intervention
- Temporary pacing lead placement
- Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Cardioversions

Support Staff:
- Three-person 24/7 call team
- Cardiac lab staffing:
- Two labs Monday-Wednesday
- One lab Thursday-Friday
Requirements
- Must have active Utah Medical License
- Interventional Cardiology experience required
- Echocardiography skills required, including TEE
