Position Overview:
Seeking Non-Invasive Cardiologists for full-time locum tenens work with a preference for long-term commitment. Minimum availability: 3 weeks per month.
Practice Setting:
- Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage
- Clinic: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Physicians will manage their own patient panel
Key Responsibilities
Inpatient (Hospital Rotation every 5 6 weeks):
- Inpatient care and rounding
- Cardiology consults
- Multidisciplinary rounds
- Communication with referring providers
- Reading hospital diagnostic studies during service week
Outpatient (When Not on Hospital Service):
- Clinic 5 days per week (Mon Fri)
- Minimum 3 weeks per month
- One weekly clinic reading day
- Patient visits and follow-ups
- Review of diagnostic studies
- Coordination with imaging/testing teams
Note: Clinic reading day is reassigned during hospital service weeks.
Additional Requirements:
- Active supervising license required
- Will supervise Physician Assistants
- Team-based environment
