Job Purpose- To provide personal care and attendant services for the client, in the residence and community of the client. 60; 60; 60;The goal of personal and attendant care services is to help the client maintain the maximum level of independence. 60; Caregiver will assist with daily living tasks that client or other natural supports are unable to complete. 60; 60;Thus, maintaining the clients ability to remain in his/her own home.

Hiring Requirements-
Caregiver must:
- be 18 years of age or older
- complete training in competencies and knowledge of personal care services as defined in the Idaho Training Matrix. 60; 60;(ACCESS Care at Home utilizes the on-line Idaho Medicaid training modules.) 60;
- Pass a department of health and welfare criminal background check
- Have a valid drivers license and current auto insurance 60;if 60;providing transportation.

Daily work may include one or more of the following tasks: (every client has different needs)
- Meal preparation, Assistance with eating
- Personal hygiene, Bathing, Dressing
- Toileting
- Transferring assistance with mobility
- Shopping, laundry, housework
- Medication assistance
- Transportation to and from community resources (grocery/pharmacy)
- Chore services
- Companionship
