Urology Physician
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Urology Physician and make a meaningful impact on patient lives in a vibrant, high-volume medical facility. We are urgently seeking a qualified professional to fill a full-time role, ensuring continuity of care for our patients and supporting our staffing needs at this critical time. This position offers a stimulating environment with diverse clinical responsibilities, including outpatient care, inpatient consults, procedures, and post-operative rounding, all within a Level III Trauma Center setting.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Urology
- Valid NY Medical License
- Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Current work history with no gaps of 30 days or more
- Must provide a physician s statement regarding any malpractice history
- BLS certification
- Excellent clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Robotic surgery experience (limited robotic availability)
- Prior experience working in a Level III Trauma Center
- Ability to adapt to flexible call schedules
- Experience with outpatient clinic management and inpatient consults
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Urology practice
- Prior experience with EMR systems, preferably Epic
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work flexible call hours, with 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
- Availability for day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, with clinic hours Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM 5:30 PM
- Ability to work approximately 20 patients per day
- Must hold current licensure and certifications; travel and licensure reimbursements applicable
