Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - OB/GYN
Join a reputable healthcare facility in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan! We are seeking a Board-certified Physician in OB/GYN to provide exceptional healthcare services. The practice offers 24/7 hospital coverage, ensuring comprehensive care for patients while supported by experienced staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide on-call coverage with flexible scheduling.
- Manage labor and delivery, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Deliver emergency department and surgical coverage.
- Address acute and urgent surgical needs as they arise.
- Conduct clinic consultations for emergent cases to determine the need for hospital admission.
- Engage in prenatal care.
- Collaborate with 2 Nurse Practitioners to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board certified in OB/GYN (Required).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in OB/GYN (Required).
- Active Michigan medical license (Required).
- Willingness to cover at least 5 blocks of days; local candidates preferred but others may be considered.
- Recent National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) report within the last 30 days (Required).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN (Required).
- Active Medical License in Michigan (Required).
