Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and independent Family Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative outpatient healthcare team. This provider will deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care with an emphasis on preventive services, chronic disease management, and women's health. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, committed to evidence-based practice, and passionate about serving diverse patient populations.

Open to new graduate FNP's with women's health background

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Provide preventive health services, screenings, and wellness counseling.
  • Educate patients regarding disease prevention, medications, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications Required
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification.
  • Active DEA registration and prescription authority.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice standards.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred
  • Experience in primary care, women's health, reproductive health, or family planning.
  • Experience managing chronic diseases and implementing health promotion initiatives.
  • Knowledge of preventive care and public health principles.
  • Experience caring for diverse, underserved, or vulnerable populations.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and outcome measurement.
  • Experience conducting telehealth visits.
  • Existing credentialing with payors such as Highmark, UPMC, Cigna, or Geisinger.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Full-Time
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Patient volume: Approximately patients daily
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $115,000 annually.
