Job description

Job responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic mental health conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and other treatments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members and coordinate patient care.
  • Manage patients with challenging behaviors safely.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and institutional policies.

    Qualifications:
  • MD or DO with valid Oregon medical license.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience in mental health or forensic settings preferred.:
