- Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical unit position requiring a valid NM or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience, with night shift availability.Details
- Work in a 32-bed Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- Rapid response team activation responsibilities
- Epic used for charting (experience preferred)
- Floating required to like units
- No on-call requirements
- 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week periodRequirements
- Active NM or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required (pending accepted)
- NIHSS certification required (pending accepted)
- CPI certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligibleAdditional Information

- Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted - individual applicants only
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before traveling back
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be automatically approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
