Opportunity:
Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:
  • Ambulatory clinic-based position scheduled Tuesday through Friday for a 6-month assignment beginning July 28, 2026
  • Oversee patient treatments across various oncologic disease states with approximately 20 patients per day
  • Conduct new patient consults, follow-up appointments, and patient status checks
  • Participate in tumor conferences
  • Perform treatment planning responsibilities
  • Required procedures include SBRT, IMRT, 3D, and SRS
  • EMR system: Epic
  • Support staff includes 1 RN, 4 Radiation Therapists, 2 medical physicists, and 3 dosimetrists
  • No on-call or weekend requirements
  • Active Board Certification required
  • Active Kentucky license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification in hand required
  • Residency or fellowship training required
  • BLS preferred and must be obtained by start date; ACLS, PALS, and NRP are nice to have
  • DEA preferred and required for assignment; prescription plan available if not issued by start date
  • Clean background and malpractice history highly preferred; minor or closed cases considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Emergency credentialing available within one week upon receipt of a completed application

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
