Profession: NP or PA Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Eureka, CA Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Sep 01, 2026 Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8am 5pm (with 1-hour unpaid lunch) Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by AgencyPATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 12-14 patients/dayFACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: 3 RNs, 4 MAs, 3 APPs No of Exam Rooms: 8 Lab & X-ray onsite? Oncology Clinic is attached to Chemo Treatment Center & hospitalPRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: YesJOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE Licenses: CA DEA: Active Certifications: BLS Experience: Min 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in specialty; clean file required for temp privilegesDuties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology/oncology care to patients. Manage chemotherapy patients and collaborate with oncology treatment center. Document patient encounters and medical records using Epic EMR. Participate in clinic schedule including 8-hour shifts with one-hour unpaid lunch. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team including nursing, MAs, and PAs/NPs.
