What You ll Do
- Provide OB hospitalist coverage including deliveries, triage, and gyn emergencies
- Manage unassigned gynecological emergencies
- Collaborate with the team on OB triage and patient care
- Document patient encounters efficiently using the facility's EMR system
- Support NICU-related care at Level 1 NICU (no Level 2 or higher)
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team communication to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Cover hospitalist duties as needed per schedule and facility guidelines
What You NeedRequired:
- Medical license in Iowa or eligible for licensure
- Board eligibility or certification in OB/GYN
- Experience with OB triage, deliveries, and gyn emergencies
Preferred:
- Past hospitalist experience
- Ability to coordinate patient care in high-volume settings
About the Assignment
This assignment is at a busy hospital with approximately 200 deliveries annually. The hospital provides OB triage, unassigned gynecological emergency care, and delivery services. As part of your role, you'll support daily patient encounters and contribute to a collaborative healthcare team committed to providing excellent obstetric and gynecological care.
