ATC Locums is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for locum coverage following a provider resignation, offering an excellent opportunity to focus on patient care with a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

  • Coverage Dates:
    • August
    • September 22 October 2
  • Ongoing Schedule: Tuesday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM for approximately 6 months
  • Call: None
Practice Details
  • Outpatient radiation oncology practice
  • Approximately 20 patients per day
  • No hospital admissions
  • Diverse oncologic disease states
  • Responsibilities include:
    • New consultations
    • Follow-up visits
    • Treatment planning
    • Status checks
    • Oversight of treatments
    • Tumor conference participation
Procedures & Technology
  • SBRT
  • IMRT
  • 3D conformal radiation therapy
  • SRS
  • EMR: Epic
Collaborative Support Team
  • 1 Registered Nurse
  • 4 Radiation Therapists
  • 2 Medical Physicists
  • 3 Dosimetrists
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
  • Kentucky medical license or IMLC eligibility (LOQ in hand)
  • Clean background and malpractice history required for emergency privileges
  • BLS required by start date; DEA preferred for assignment
