AMN Healthcare is partnering with a Leesburg, Florida school district to hire a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with one of the top districts in the area, providing services to children of all ages. Generally, the COTA will address motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions that impact a student's academics, self-care skills, play, and social participation, as well as transitional skills.
Required Qualifications
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, SchoolCompletion of an associates degree or higher education
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in STATE
(Some States) Completion of the Substantial Equivalency Assessment (SEA)
Preferred Qualifications
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
