Orthopedic Trauma Surgery NP Locums Job in South Carolina Various Shifts + Call Beginning ASAP - Ongoing Assignment Coverage Details Beginning ASAP - ongoing
Primary shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 5-7 days per week
Additional shifts available: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Weekend 24-hour call coverage required
Optional night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM as needed
Credentialing tied to committee schedule with final approval on the 3rd Tuesday of each month
Shift Description Orthopedic trauma surgery hospital coverage
Responsibilities include OR coverage, ICU coverage, hospital rounding, consults, post-operative visits, and ED support
Average patient volume: approximately 20 patients per day
No clinic responsibilities
Call Details First-call coverage required
Must be comfortable taking call independently
Overnight call responsibilities included
Weekend 24-hour call coverage required
Requirements Active South Carolina license required
ACLS or ATLS certification required
South Carolina DEA and CDS required
Orthopedic trauma first-call experience required
Independent call coverage experience required
