OB/GYN Laborist Locums Job in Kentucky 5-6 Shifts/Month
Coverage Details
Reason for Coverage: due to high volume and expanding services
Start Date: Upon privileging, August 3
3-4 night shifts per month
Initial 2-month commitment with potential for extension until permanent hires are onboarded
Shift Description
4-5 day blocks of 12-hour night shifts (8P-8A)
Rounding included during shift
Night shifts only; no day shifts required
Manager recommends no more than 4 blocks initially and no more than 6 consecutive shifts once acclimated
Requirements
Local Candidate - Preferred
Board Certified - Preferred
Residency with fellowship in maternal/fetal medicine preferred but not required
Minimum 5 years of experience
Certifications: BLS, NRP, ATLS, DEA
Clean malpractice history prioritized
Must provide case logs from past 12-24 months:
50 OB/GYN management cases
50 deliveries including 10 C-sections
25 gynecological surgical procedures (5 major abdominal cases)
OR recent completion of ACGME/AOA residency/fellowship within past 12 months
Skills & Procedures
Surgical procedures for maternity care and delivery
OB: Low risk, High risk, Ultrasounds, Amniocentesis
Labor & Delivery: Routine, Complicated, VBACs, C-sections
Gynecology: Office procedures, Minor circumcisions
GYN surgery not required
