OBGYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Rowlett, TX!
Pediatrix Medical Group is partnering with Baylor Scott & White Lakepoint Medical Center to bring OBGYN hospitalist services to the vibrant suburban community of Dallas. We are excited to offer a per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist position, allowing you to work flexibly while making a significant impact on women's health.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide OB triage, admissions, and inpatient care.
- Attend deliveries and see unassigned patients.
- Cover the OB floor and provide ER consults for GYN emergencies.
- Assist in surgeries, including cesarean sections.
- Monitor fetal health and respond to emergencies during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and NNPs in a Level III NICU.
- Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancies.
- Utilize in-house anesthesiology services available 24/7.
- Shifts are 24 hours in house.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (not accepting Board Eligible candidates).
- Texas medical license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) required.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience (not accepting inactive providers).
- Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience within OB/GYN.
- Completed Prescreen Questionnaire.
- CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained.
- Self-Query NPDB within 30 days of submission.
- Current home address, phone number, and email on the CV's first page.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (REQUIRED)
- Texas license or active IMLC (REQUIRED)
- Clinical activity within the past year (REQUIRED)
