Gastroenterology Locums Job in New Mexico Monday-Sunday 8am-5pm + Call Beginning ASAP - Ongoing Assignment Open Dates July 6 - July 12 (will accept General GI for these urgent dates)

Coverage Details Beginning as credentialed
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temporary privileges available)
Will accept multiple providers (full weeks only)
Provider must be able to commit to a 7-14 day stretch; partial weeks will not be considered
Ongoing need to replace a permanent provider
Shift Description 8 hours in-house rounding, then call
Rounding hours: Mon-Sun 8 AM - 5 PM
Average 15+ patients per shift
Rounding on assigned patients
Call Details Monday-Monday, 7AM - 7AM
Beeper call
Admissions per shift: 5-10
Call-back percentage: 30%
Providers will be on call for a full 7-day block
Requirements Board Certified required
Active New Mexico license required
ACLS required
BLS required
Fellowship preferred due to higher-acuity GI patient population
Clean background required for temporary privileges
Highly Preferred Procedures / Skills ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
Assignment Details Beds in department: 99

Trauma Level IV
APP supervision required
Support staff includes 3 RNs and 3 PA/NPs
