Job description

  • Pediatric hospitalist role

  • 5-on / 10-off block schedule

  • Rounding on pediatric patients and newborns with two other pediatricians

  • Level II nursery coverage

  • About 800 deliveries per year

  • Round and go model

  • 15-minute response time during the 24-hour shift

  • Must have or obtain NRP certification

  • Must respond to emergency high-risk deliveries

  • 165-bed, not-for-profit regional hospital

  • East central Illinois

  • Nearby attractions include Kickapoo State Recreation Area, Kennekuk County Park, Lake Vermilion, trails, canoeing, hiking, and fishing
