Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient OB/GYN call coverage
- Round on hospitalized patients
- Manage vaginal deliveries and emergent cesarean deliveries
- Evaluate and treat gynecologic emergencies
- Collaborate with hospital support services during call coverage
Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active North Carolina medical license
- Active North Carolina DEA registration
- North Carolina Medicaid credentialing required
- Active Medicare/PECOS enrollment required
- Currently practicing obstetrics with recent delivery experience
- Case logs required
- No recent or open malpractice cases
- Ability to meet the required 20-minute response time
