Covalent Medical Management is conducting a search for Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist Physicians for an exciting upcoming inpatient opportunity at a growing community hospital in Southwest Florida.
This is a strategic recruitment effort for a new hospital-based program currently under development. We are identifying qualified physicians interested in learning more as final operational details are completed.
Position Highlights
Community hospital with a collaborative physician leadership team
Block scheduling anticipated (7-on/7-off expected)
Day shift coverage initially, with future program expansion
Modern inpatient practice utilizing Meditech EMR
Opportunity to help build and shape a new Hospital Medicine program
Strong administrative and clinical support
Malpractice insurance and tail coverage provided
Compensation
Competitive compensation of $327k annually for W-2 and $374k for 1099
Flexible employment options:
1099 Independent Contractor
W-2 Employment with Comprehensive Benefits
$50k start Bonus/$30k Relocation
Physician Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
Internal Medicine (ABIM/AOBIM), or
Family Medicine (ABFM/ABOFM) with Hospitalist experience
Required Certifications
ACLS
BLS
