Gastroenterology Physician

Location: GA

Duration: June 2024 - October 2024 (potential to extend)

Reason for coverage: Increase in patients, want to add 2 physicians at all times

Schedule: Mon-Sun, looks to be 1-3 weeks/month

Shift: 24 hr call, 7a-7a

Call: 24 hour

Patient volume: 5-12 patients/day per provider , 10-25 patients total

Scope: 24-hour call includes 100% adult inpatient rounding. Required procedures EGD, Colonoscopy (Advanced procedures not required)

EMR: EPIC

Hospital: 345 beds, level 3 trauma

Group/support: 1 other GI hospitalist on service

Requirements (boards, license): GA or IMLC licensed, Board Certified, Clean Background
