Pediatric/Newborn Hospitalist Opening in Southwest, MI - Located in Southwest Michigan- The position includes coverage at two Level I newborn nurseries located in Kalamazoo and Battle Creek- BE/BC- Full-time; Permanent position Overview - Primarily a Newborn Hospitalist role with part-time coverage with the Pediatric Hospitalist service line- Responsibilities include attendance at high risk deliveries, newborn stabilization and assessment, daily rounding and management of stable newborns, supervising Advanced Practice Providers and training residents and medical students- Maintenance of CPR and NRP are also required- The Pediatric Medicine Hospital Specialists consists of 10 Pediatric Hospitalists. Clinical responsibilities include general pediatric inpatient care and sedation services.
