TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Physician (Neurology) in Hudson County, NJ for our client, supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of neurological conditions within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. This opportunity offers the ability to work closely with physicians, specialists, and clinical teams while providing comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic neurological disorders. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, excellent diagnostic skills, and a patient-centered approach to neurological care.

Responsibilities as the Physician:

  • Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations, obtain medical histories, and assess patients presenting with acute and chronic neurological conditions.
  • Diagnosis & Treatment: Diagnose and manage neurological disorders, including stroke, seizure disorders, neuropathies, movement disorders, and other conditions affecting the nervous system.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies, including EEGs, nerve conduction studies, imaging, and other neurological assessments.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Patient Education: Counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and long-term disease management.
  • Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records while ensuring compliance with clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards.

Qualifications for the Physician:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree is required.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted New Jersey medical license or the ability to obtain licensure prior to employment is required.
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology is required.
  • Experience: Prior experience diagnosing and treating neurological disorders within hospital, outpatient, or multispecialty practice settings is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience utilizing electronic medical records and interpreting neurological diagnostic testing is preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic reasoning, communication, and patient care skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment are required.
