Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

As an integral part of this community-based hospital, you will manage a comprehensive range of orthopedic cases. Your role will encompass general orthopedic surgeries, hip and knee replacements, arthroscopy, and the treatment of fractures, dislocations, and orthopedic trauma. The patient demographic spans adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, providing a rich and varied clinical experience. The facility uses the EPIC EMR system, ensuring smooth and efficient patient management and documentation.

Schedule and Assignment Details

This locum position requires 24-hour call coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., including weekends, with dates extending from October 7th to October 12th, and potentially beyond. The role is designed for a physician comfortable with emergency call duties, including call backs, and capable of providing comprehensive orthopedic care under time-sensitive conditions.

  • Orthopedic fellowship training is preferred, but not mandatory.
