Locum Cardiovascular Surgery NP/PA - Billings, Montana (Compact License Accepted)Availability
  • Position Type: Locums
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment Length: Ongoing
  • Coverage Needed: Full-time preferred
  • Alternate Schedule Considered: Week-on/week-off
Schedule
  • 4 x 10-hour shifts
  • 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • OR and inpatient responsibilities
  • Weeknight Call: 1:4 (4:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Weekend Call: Approximately 1:5
  • Call Type: Beeper
  • Required Response Time: Within 20 minutes

Licensure Requirements
  • Active Montana License or
  • Compact License Accepted
Board Certification
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required
Required Certifications
  • BLS
  • ACLS
Practice Highlights
  • Assist Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons in the Operating Room
  • Inpatient rounding responsibilities
  • Assigned rounding patients
  • Trauma Level I facility
  • Cerner EMR
Patient Volume
  • Approximately 8 patients per shift
  • 30-bed department
Ideal Candidate
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Cardiovascular Surgery experience
  • Comfortable first assisting in Cardiothoracic and Vascular procedures
  • Experience managing inpatient cardiovascular surgery patients
