Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA Inpatient + Call Billings, MT (MT License or IMLC) Why This Role

- Full-time schedule with established surgical team
- First Assist in the OR plus inpatient rounding
- Flexible week-on/week-off schedule considered
- Level I Trauma Center
Assignment Details- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM-5:00 PM)
- Call: 1:4 weekday beeper call (5:00 PM-7:00 AM) plus approximately 1:5 weekend call
- Response Time: 20 minutes
- Patient Volume: Approximately 8 patients per day
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Clinical Details- First Assist for Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery cases
- Inpatient rounding on assigned patients
- Postoperative patient management
- Collaborate with Cardiothoracic surgeons and multidisciplinary team
- Support staff includes 4 APPs, 6 RNs, MA, and office staff
- Level I Trauma Center
Requirements- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Active Montana license or IMLC
- ACLS
- BLS
- Experience assisting in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery
- Comfortable with inpatient rounding and call coverage
