Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Call Only Lima, OH (OH License Required) Why This Role Ongoing cardiothoracic surgery call coverage with recurring monthly needs Level II Trauma Center Hospital-based practice supported by an experienced team of physician assistants Epic EMR Assignment Details Start Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Setting: Inpatient Hospital Schedule: 24-hour call shifts Coverage Need: Approximately 10 Äì14 call days per month Patient Population: Adult Average Surgical Cases: Approximately 1 case per day EMR: Epic Requirements Active Ohio medical license Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship training BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to perform all required cardiothoracic procedures Availability for requested coverage dates Recent Self-Query NPDB report required at presentation Clinical Details Hospital-based rounding and 24-hour call coverage Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) Arterial revascularization using internal mammary, radial, and gastroepiploic arteries Redo coronary revascularization with or without valve surgery Pericardial window procedures Heart valve repair and replacement Mitral valve repair Collaborative practice with three cardiothoracic physician assistants
